Or other non climate controlled room? We got an indoor table for Christmas, but it's a little larger than we had planned on. It's either keep it in our living room or move it to a closed in patio that's not climate controlled. There will be no direct sunlight or rain but I still hesitate to put it out there if there's a good chance of the table warping.

It's gonna warp on the edges, then be useless.

All weather is where it is at. The indoor ones suck. I have had both and will never buy and indoor again.

I've got a crazy coke head uncle that plays and is pretty good.

He gets mad when you call it ping pong. Says its table tennis.

Nope, I keep my ping pong table in my ping pong room... it's in the southwest wing of my home. Surely that would be the most logical room to put it in? Why would I waste one of my garages on ping pong?

I keep mine in the garage, it's been in there over ten years and is fine. Just keep it out of direct sunlight and away from too much moisture.

Get some outdoor primer and paint all the exposed wood. It will help to keep the wood from obsorbing moisture.

Yes, but garage is climate controlled / insulated.

So far so good. Just whipped my 9yo's azz as if I were from Peking, China.

We kept ours in the garage when I was younger. That table made it through all of my middle school/high school years.

Mine was too, of course it doubled as a play room/marijuana garden.

Good times!

Well most newer homes insulate the garage but I don't know anyone that has a climate controlled one. But this being the OT I'm sure they will come out of the woodwork.

We kept ours in my fathers warehouse and played for years - even while on the clock at $3.25 an hour. That pissed him off.

Get that shite out of the garage so you can park your car in there. If you wanted a game room then you should have bought a bigger house. No one in your neighborhood wants to see you and your drunk friends parking in the yard while you have a big screen, ping pong table and sofa in the garage.

And please take those damn light up beer signs down too.
