As far as I know. Just ask them to bring out your app with everyone else's meal. Usually its not an issue.
There's a Cuban place across the street from us that we usually go and get some tapas plates to share.

That's my favorite as well.
I get the app sampler at Superior sometimes when I can't decide what I want. We've gotten it a few times at Twin Peaks.

I don’t think it makes anyone look cheap or fat. Well, maybe fat if you are fat.
I do it sometimes because I like to try a lot of things. It’s a reason I only eat Indian if it’s a buffet. I want everything, not just overpriced butter chicken.

When I waited tables in college, the screen had a button for making any appetizer an entree, that way the kitchen would know to hold off on making it. It is very common in most restaurants.

Sometimes. The yard house has half off appetizers from 3-6. I like the Poke nachos and sometimes get a half off mini pizza as well for an early dinner and drinks.
My 4 year old gets a kids pizza, I get a few beers and food for less than $40 and it takes up part of the evening before bath and bedtime. Plus it teaches the kid not to be shithead when in public when they get older.

A lot of the time I order off the appetizer menu for a meal. Some places just give you way too much food in their entrees then I’m trying to eat sometimes
Pluckers for example I always go with the buffalo bites. Used to come with an order of fries and 8 or so regular sized wings. Perfect amount of bar food I want to go with my beer.

I have. I prefer breadless bone in wings, fried mushrooms, jalapeno peppers with cream cheese ( not cheddar ) and onion rings
