Usually we only have one system move through. But with these storms back to back was rough on her. First storm, she freaked out so bad she had bad diarrhea. Then when the other ones it, it was a lot of blood. Iam talking about a murder scene amount. Just got her to a vet and her health was great. I thought we were going to have to put her down. But vet put her on anxiety meds.

Yes. He's 140 pounds. It can get dicey.

Nobody has a dog that’s afraid of thunder. You’re the only one.

I think most dogs are scared of storms, though some are much worse about it than others. We had a chocolate lab that would be so panicked she would look for anything to crawl under- bed covers, back of the closet, even jump into a tub. Our two dogs now don't like storms, but they don't freak out.

My lab hates it. He won't kennel and takes up residence in a hall bathroom until it is over. He bent his metal kennel getting out of it during a storm.
Now, if I go out and stand in the storm he is completely fine with going outside with me.
My wife's yorkie will go out in the worst storm to bark and remind the neighborhood dogs of her dominance. She will come back in looking like a drowned rat.

Literally scared the shite out of her eh?
My lab loves storms. Will pass the frick out feet in the air snoring so loud you can hear him from the other room.
He knows he’s going to get soaking wet on his walks and that means getting dried off which is one of his favorite things.

Had a female black lab that didn't like lightening or gun shots. We got her to be our male's companion, also a rescue. You would think she knew what settle in place meant because she always went into the bathroom when storms hit. Shook like she had fever.

I’ve had a bunch of dogs in my life, and never had a problem until a couple of years ago.
One was outside on a covered porch when lightning hit a tree a few houses down, and the strike was accompanied by an ear-bursting crack of thunder.
Now a distance rumbling of thunder gets her pacing and panicking. Thunder shirt has definitely helped, but it’s not a cure.

My dog will either stay close to me or my wife, or squeeze himself into the tightest spot he can find.
Nothing like you described, but he definitely has some low level anxiety with storms and tries to find comfort and protection (even though he’s perfectly safe in the house).

My friend in high school had a German shepherd that hated me, I always had to use the side door, the dog had to be outside. One day a storm comes in, one of his parents let it in, and it runs up to me and jumps in my lap just trembling from the thunder. I thought I was going to get mauled but this bastard dog wanted me to be its security blanket even though it hated me. Dogs are weird.
I thought we made peace that day, but the next time I came over it hated me again.

I owned two dogs that couldn't care less about storms. My wife's mother passed away, so we additionally inherited her chihuahua, which is a little ball of anxiety--true to her breed. She goes beserk during storms and now has driven our other two to become death afraid of them. So now, during any storm, there are always three damn dogs constantly whimpering and underfoot around the house.

My wife's dog gets really clingy.
I had an older dog that was bulletproof when he was younger and suddenly he started freaking out during thunderstorms. He had a tumor that was affecting his brain. One day we got home and he had torn through a couple of the interior doors during a thunderstorm. He'd never done anything bad before that other than sneaking on the couch every now and then.
I conditioned my lab to gunshots when she was a pup so she doesn't even seem to notice a storm.

Anybody have a dog NOT scared of storms?
We have a big male English bulldog who shakes and whines and needs to be soothed and also a little old female Frenchie who is totally nonplussed by it.
