Ran track against Trindon and current Raiders RB Jeremy Stewart in HS. I used to keep up Jeremy and then he became a beast his senior year.
Lost to the Harrison brothers in tennis when I was about 10. Got to see them play in the US Open 2 summers ago which was pretty cool.
Also once challenged Bennie Brazill and Corey Webster to a foot race in the walmart parking lot. They declined, so I'll count that as a W.

Used to have wars at the West Monroe rec. Steve Cox was a beast as well. His son was West Monroe's starting RB this year. Dang, I'm getting old.
Also used to throw alley oops to Carlos Funchez in PE class at NLU/ULM. Carlos won the NCAA Slam Dunk competition in 1991. He was a GA in 1994/1995. Was absolutely amazing.

Kicked off to and tackled Ron Dixon of NY Giants fame in college, dude tried to hurdle my massive 5'9", 150 lb. self. Told him afterwards that his arse just got tackled by the kicker. Good times.

Played freshman football against the late, great Eric Andolsek (RIP). Thankfully didn't have to block him since he outweighed my 145 by about 100 pounds.
Our coaches used some interesting motivational tactics when our linemen were not playing well in practice. The coaches said they were going to tell Andolsek that our guys called him 'something'
It worked since we won 6-0 in an epic defensive battle.

I got dunked on by Jackie Harris in an intramural basketball game at NLU. Jackie went to be a Pro Bowl TE for the Green Bay Packers. Dude was a beast. Tossed me around like a ragdoll.

He's not exactly famous per se, but you know who he is if you have followed SEC football the last few years.
I went to HS with UGA WR Chris Conley. We played on the same FB team for 3 yrs. pretty cool guy, if not a little big-headed.

I beat Travis Minor in the 100 meter

Played a few rounds of golf with Garland Jean-Batiste. He consistently drove 300 yards, usually beat me by 5+ strokes. He insisted we played football together at LSU or New Orleans. I look like a football player, but I never played, pops wouldn't let. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

I was a kicker in HS and 1 year of college.

No.
But I met Shaq while attending an LSU football camp one summer.
And Michael Jordan and the rest of the Birmingham Barons stopped at the Hooter's I worked at in Huntsville, AL one Sunday night after a baseball game. We had just closed but the fryers were still hot so they all came in with two waitresses and two cooks left.

WarhawkRebel played in those wars with Mike Smith and Steve Cox at the West Monroe Rec Center. He knows.
Wish I knew who you were, LSUballs. I guarantee you we played against each other.

I did my last two years of high school in Arizona and was in the same district as Terrell Suggs. He was a running back. He ran over me and stepped on my face.
And a funny story about Randy Johnson....I was putting gas in my car in Scottsdale one day and heard that familiar throaty Italian sports car sound. I looked up and here comes the Unit in a blue Ferrari convertible...mullet blowing majestically in the breeze.
