Had some packages I ordered on Amazon and EBay before the storm. Understandably they were delayed. Ordered some more stuff post storm that Amazon claimed was two day shipping. They’re set to arrive today via Amazon delivery but haven’t “shipped” yet. I know Amazon shipping can sometimes be much more sudden than a typical UPS delivery but I doubt I’m getting my stuff today. USPS seems to have updated everything and what I have in their system is moving again. Amazon basically has given no update but is still listing the original delivery date.

Anybody gotten stuff shipped before the storm and anybody gotten anything shipped/ordered after the storm?

UPS brought me something yesterday. People on Nextdoor app said Fedex wasn't delivering.

Damn you Amazon. I’m glad I curtailed most of my spending with them the last year. They’ve been so inconsistent since Covid with actually getting me two day shipping. They sort of normalized within the last few months.

I had to get refunds on all my pre-storm Amazon orders. They all said "lost" when i tracked.

UPS and Fedex have been doing Sunday (non Amazon) deliveries here.

I had a package scheduled for delivery September 1st, got it yesterday. I knew it wasn't going to be delivered on the 1st, but have been waiting it.

Had a FedEx express Saturday delivery set up for yesterday. A truck part. It's nowhere to be seen. Not sure how they didn't forsee this one day in advance.

I'm still waiting on some Chewy packages that were supposed to be delivered Friday. The estimated delivery date kept getting pushed back. Now when I check tracking it doesn't even list a delivery date. Just says "in transit" in Baton Rouge for the past 4 days.
I sent something to my son in Houston that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, now says Monday. That was an Amazon purchase so shouldn't be affected by Ida. Everything is slow.

Those dicks aren't delivering in Baton Rouge either. Had something that was supposed to be delivered Friday that was shipped to BR on Friday. They still haven't delivered it and I was planning on bringing it to the range today.

We got UPS and Amazon last week.

Now, if we can just get the foul arse garbage picked up we’ll be all set.

I've seen a few trucks around, FedEX only. I ordered something 9/6, eta 9/18 maybe, through Amazon. I went to Jefferson feed for it.

Your Chewy stuff hazardous materials? I have a package stuck in the same loop. The customer service guy was no help. Will call back Monday.

I am not even getting packages reliably in BR. Stuff is running about 1-2 weeks behind. Having to go to the store to buy stuff, it sucks, wastes SO much time.

In Baton Rouge;

had 2 FedEx packages enroute.

Order from Home Depot (ship via FedEx), placed after Ida. Came from Cali, delivered to BR on Thursday to house.

Order from a shop in Ocala, placed before Ida- made it to somewhere between Wesson MS, and Covington; sat there in Covington for a week.
Saturday... it went to Lake Charles. WHY?
Sunday, ... it's now in HOUSTON. WHAT THE frick?

I even called FedEx prior to the weekend on this shipment, since it was placed in August. They told me it was delayed but safe; I said fine, I was afraid it was in a damaged site. As long as it comes, I would be fine.

I WILL be calling on Monday, to find out why it's now rolling West on I-10, instead of simply staying put. As I said, this one isn't even a return to sender, it came from Florida...
