Got a sandwich yesterday for lunch at Wendy’s and last night at about 9:45 last night the fun began. Up all night puking, dry heaving and severe non stop diarrhea. This shite still hasn’t finished.

I’m not sure how I can go to work like this today. This shite is terrible. 1st time ever for me

You wont go to work.

There have been several times in my life where i’ve had food not sit well, kept having to run to the bathroom, and chalked it up to food poisoning... Then, about a year ago, i had some bad Thai Chciken from Whole Foods and about 5 or 6 hours later- it started coming out of both ends, as you described... after dealing with that all night and the next morning, the only thing i could think was that i had never REALLY had food poisoning before that moment... it will come out of every orifice until your body is rid of it, that is real food poisoning and I hope i never have to experience it again.

8 to 9 hour incubation period. Food poisoning. Same thing happened to me in early 90s. Crawfish hot tamales at Jazz Fest.

Next day I felt like somebody had beaten me with a 2x4 all night.

Yup, couple times.

Once at hello sushi back in college. I wished I had just died.

Didn't eat sushi for like 2 years after that.

Had it once before due to eating bad oysters at one of those 24 hour places many years ago.

Same symptoms. Sitting on the toilet blowing out the bottom end and puking in a 5 gallon bucket, often at the same time.

Lasted almost 2 days before it cleared up and 2 of the most miserable days of my life. I must have drank a few gallons of water trying to stay hydrated since it was leaving me so fast.

I would opt for a sick day.

Happened to me back in 2010. Worst 2 days of my life health wise.

Simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea. It's amazing how bad your body hurts when you vomit a lot.

HOpe you feel better.

I does sound like a stomach bug though.

I had some bad sweet tea recently, and it hit me about 8 hours later. I couldn't even pull myself off the couch.

If you really had food poisoning, work and Tigerdroppings would be the last thoughts on your mind.

You’d be thinking about the hospital or suicide

Probably shouldn't. It ought to be easing up some? If undiminished get to a clinic.

I had what you described twice. Once after eating a burger from a then popular (now defunct) burger joint near Lakeside Shopping Center when I worked there during college. The other from something I ate at the Jazz Fest around the same time.

Raises Hand

I ate some suspect turkey from the frig a few months back, had to make a Walmart run and while walking down the isle I had this incredible feeling come over me.

Sweating, diarrhea coming strong. Left my cart full of groceries and rushed home where I shat and pucked for 2 days.

I couldn't get out of the bed I was so weak.

Most god awful mess ever

The odds of it being a stomach virus are definitely more likely than food poisoning. And that stuff is crazy contagious. Please dont go to work and continue to spread it around

Yep, twice

Not sure why you'd even think about going. It's called "calling in sick". When it's real, it is completely acceptable.

If it is food poisoning it wouldn't be the Wendy's that gave it to you. It's called "last meal bias" - read a book baw!

I’ve had food poisoning once, and when I had it if I even typed out the word “food” I would puke. Sweating, diarrhea, vomiting in no particular order. The sheets were soaked in “sweat” when I woke up and when I took the comforter off I realized I had water-shite in my sleep. My wife (girlfriend at the time) got me some new clothes and changed the sheets for me while I took a shower so I bought her a ring. Not just any woman will clean up another adult’s shite and not break up with them.
