That’s an older model infotainment. Newer ones have much larger, more Intuitive screens. Even my old ‘20 Outback had the larger set-up

Yup, except ours has Toyota badges on it.

It is a Subaru though.

My wife has the Ascent. It's nice enough. It has a lot of standard safety features and even though we have the touring package with all the niceties and what not, all those safety features come standard throughout the product range. Which is nice.

I do find it underpowered, especially for going through the passes here in Colorado but other than that, it's a great car.

I think Subaru has the best bang for the buck.

That’s an awesome ride! I wish they would make a highER performance version but I know it drives well.

we have 2022 outback touring XT. bought new b/c used at the time couldn't be found or were more than new. 17k miles so far with no issues. XT has the turbo charged engine so it has enough punch to get you moving. The cvt transmission worries me in the long run but otherwise it pretty much can do everything. plenty of room for 4 adults, dog has plenty of space in the cargo area, rear seats lay flat so you can car camp, and handles snow with no trouble. the safety features beeping at you can get annoying.

It’s PLENTY for my 16 yr old son. Luckily life360 doesn’t show acceleration…but it does record top speed.

The car is so light to me, feels like it weighs 1/2 of my 5 series…I know it’s not, but with how low and light it is just seems REALLY quick and nimble.

Had a 2l crosstrek and it was meh on power, the 2.5l is much faster. No land speed record but good acceleration

That blacked out edition doesn't look too bad.

I bought a used 2012 Outback in 2015 and it's been a great car. 150k miles and all I've done is replace the tires once, and replace the ball joints. I'll probably order a new Outback this summer to replace it. The main draw for me was the AWD and reliability. It does well on sand roads and pulls my boat out of the water just fine, and I can sleep in the back with a couple of inches to spare. Great car if you like the outdoors. The resale now is so high I'll just buy new.

We have a 2015 Outback and a 2018 Forester, both great cars with very little maintenance. I like the Eyesight safety features a lot, the AWD on wet roads is great. Both have a lot of passenger room in spite of the size. I'm tall and my neck is fused, I can get in and out with no issue, most cars, especially the Lexus are impossible.

My in-laws have a second home in the blue ridge mountains and all I see are Subaru. I guess the all wheel drive in the mountains with ice and snow is the main reason

They’re not bad and are good value. Subaru Ascent is the company car we drive. It’s got a good combination of family car features (3rd row) while still offering good agility/handling.

Fun fact: Toyota owns a small stake in Subaru’s parent co and they are partners on some models.
Yeah, for a while the Subaru plant here was also building some Camrys.
