I'll do it for $400. Seriously, drop your car off at my house give me an hour and a half (i will go get the bulb for you). $200 up front and another $200 when you come pick it up. If you need it changed really bad tomorrow I can get it taken care of for $400.

I had a 2011 Malibu and had to remove the grill, bumper, and fender to get to the bulb. Wasn’t a 30 second job.

I used to have an Elantra where in order to replace the battery side headlight bulb you had to loosen bolts along the frame and wiggle the whole assembly out.
Then, wiggle it back in and tighten everything up.
It took 30-45 mins for that side and 30-45 seconds for the other side.

Go ask this on the Outdoor board, or the Home/Garden board, they'll more likely give you a straight answer with less ribbing.

ain't easy for sure. I had to make a tool to get to it on my 2018. Jeep must have thought it would be fun to put it where you can't reach it.

I have, and they can be a pain in the arse, but I still couldn’t imagine paying someone to do it.
One of the headlights on my suburban had to be pulled out of the grill area to change bulbs, but I still did it… at the same time, I’d let the daytime running light bulbs die and not change them until other bulbs went out.

I did this last Saturday on wife's grand Cherokee. Took about 30 minutes a side. Went thru hood not the wheel wells.

That is so you bring it to the dealer to get arse raped on simple repairs, and they hit you up with bogus repair charges like a lighting grease surcharge or if your dumb enough they may try to say you need to change your blinker fluid too.

Changed my 2018 keep headlight bulbs. It’s doable but a Royal pain in the arse. The wheel well access points are for people with tiny hands and you have to disconnect several things to do it from the hood. Comes down to how you want to spend your free time.
