Does anyone want my tickets? I can’t go and I’d hate for them to go to waste. Free to someone who will use them

I was planning to go tonight, but there were schedule conflicts. Planning on going on the 27th.

Is there a link for this? I could not find it streaming on the usual suspects.

Just got out of the 4 pm showing. The remastered footage is remarkable.

Does it show a lot of the actual fighting?

No, very little actual fighting. It was mostly of the day to day life in the trenches. When it got to the fighting part it showed renderings of the fighting.

I’d say about 60% of the movie is the remastered footage but what they do show is amazing. Throughout the movie they have survivors talking about what is being shown on screen.

Not much fighting. You see a few guys have artillery drop on them. Most of the nasty bits are the dead and mutilated bodies post fight.

I wonder how much footage of actual fighting exist. Doesnt seem like the battlefields of WWI were very conducive to filming.

British and German soldiers interacting at the end was very powerful. How they could just go from shredding each other with machine guns to just waving the enemy by and not even escorting them to the back of the lines sometimes.

Well, they knew their enemy was a bunch of kids like themselves doing what they were told and hating it as much as they did

Euros were much more civilized after capture than were the Japs and Viet Cong

Beautifully made film. The transition from black and white to color in the intro was pretty awesome.
