Buy a pill crusher at the pharmacy or Walmart. It crushes the pill into a powder. Then mix the powder in chocolate pudding. Pudding is great at masking the flavor. You don’t even taste even the really bitter pills.
They’re like $5 at Walgreens or CVS. You put the pill inside and you screw the top on like the lid of a jar, and as you twist it the pill is being pulverized into a fine powder.
Mix it in his pudding and he won’t even know it’s in there.

What is the name of this fancy antibiotic? My three year old has taken antibiotics a couple of times and the pharmacist puts the meds in the suspension at the pharmacy.

Put it in his mouth and hold his nose. My vet told me to do this with my cat. It didn't work on my cat, but maybe it'll help with your situation.

your pharmacist is a fricking idiot... they should have realized that the medication was for a 2 year old, and either change it to a liquid/reconstitutable form (which is what i would have done), or called the MD to have it changed to something that is available in the aforementioned form...
get a better pharmacy...
