I see all these ads online and was curious if anyone has tried them or it’s just a gimmick. And yes, my teeth are white still baws.

The fact that you added this makes you sound incredibly insecure.

My daughter (no pics) swears by them.

Just use the Colgate whitening mouthwash. It’s the only whitening product that I’ve ever used that not only doesn’t hurt my teeth but also WORKS.

I use crest white strips once a month or so and people tell me all the time how white my teeth are. I also brush twice a day, don’t smoke, and don’t drink cokes or coffee.

Just pay the $300 for Zoom and enjoy your pearly whites.

I had a ex who did to countered coffee drinking. She had white teeth. But she also brushed a few times a day. Went to the dentist regularly. Kind of hard to really know.
I read about a mixture of tumeric, coconut oil, and toothpaste to brush with a few days in a row with. Suppose to be a good DIY. Gonna try it soon as I got the stuff, but keep forgetting too.

I just got the crest ones last week.
They're easy to put on and my teeth are noticeably whiter already. Definitely not cheap though

I haven’t tried all the charcoal stuff and new fangled things, but I did crest white strips pro awhile back after I got out of braces and was pleasantly surprised.
Weird taste, but they do work. The only thing I will say is that long term use can weaken your enamel.

There was a guy I worked with that did the teeth whitening.. We joked that it looked like he had white chiclets for teeth. It looked unnatural.

Crest White Strips have worked for me lately. I was noticing some stains from coffee recently and decided to give the white strips a try. They do a nice job.

Crest white strips is a good product. Works well, limited sensitivity and or pain during the course of use. You can leave those strips in for a few hours per application if you like. The affects of the treatments last well.
Custom made trays and stronger carbamide peroxide solutions that your dentist supplies (Opalescence et.al) are a little better. Some folks have a bit of sensitivity, but it goes away and can be controlled by using Sensodyne Rapid Relief toothpaste for a week or two before starting whitening and during the course of use.
Zoom is garbage. It desiccates your teeth giving a lighter hue/value (whiter) appearance. And in many patients (myself included) hurts like hell and continues to hurt for days following and then random zingers for a while. They still recommend using a strip or tray application for 2 weeks for optimal results. So you might as well cut out the potential for pain and just do strips or trays for 2-3 weeks with touch-up applications every 3-6 months.
The charcoal and snake oil things you read on the internet are just dumb.
Whitening toothpastes should be banned. They don't whiten your teeth, but they may knock a little coffee/smoke/wine stain off. However they are very highly abrasive and wear away your enamel which is a terrible thing. Think of washing your car with comet.

I use Crest Whitestrips once in a while. They work well for me. My teeth are decently white for my age, so I’ve never tried to whiten them multiple shades.

My BIL just switched to the new Skoal whitening pouches. We’ll see how they work but I’m skeptical.
