We had one that was old as dirt. The springs would rip your leg hair out with the quickness.

Mine was my mom and aunts hand me down. It had fake hair. I braided it all the time. Her name was Dallas. I don't remember if I named her that or if my aunts did.

Yep, 55 years ago. Still have it. All of my kids used it and now my grandkids are loving it like the rest of us did.

We had the one that was made out of an old tire. It would burn the frick out of you in the summer, turn your skin black, and would hold water where mosquitoes would breed and bite the shite out of you.

I hate anyone that ever had a pony when they were growing up.

Get that thing rockin' like you're riding a race horse and the back of your calf brushes one of those springs! Race is over and the jockey is off the horse.

I only had one toy growing up. Since I was born in fact. I still have it and play with it everyday.

Still got mine. My dad repainted it and redid the wiring. Gonna give it to my little girl soon. Hope she don't pinch herself on those springs too bad like I used to.

Yes and the only reason I know that is because my mom had quite a few Polaroid pictures of me as a child either on it, or it being in the background of pictures. I was told I was scared to death of it at first.
