I hate musical theatre. With that, I got dragged to Wicked at the Saenger in NOLA and it was really entertaining.

I saw a recent local production of this. The girl who played Belle was incredible. Everyone else was about what you'd expect from local theater.

I expect to see the girl who played Belle to be doing bigger shows and/or tours in the future.

There was a pizza joint/theater type place in Tucson, AZ that did all the classics but with a comedic twist to them. I saw Phantom and it was great.

Pizza
Beer
and theater

What a country

My wife really wants to see wicked.

The musical references in Book of Mormon are basically constant the entire show and I find a new one every time I see it but an awesome one is parts of "you and me but mostly me" are blocked, sung, and lighted exactly like defying gravity and the wizard and I in Wicked. They're almost literally the exact same performance.

I would love to see this one. The music is incredible (especially the two Cabinet rap battles in Act 2).

I prefer act 1.

I really like the female led songs:

Satisfied, the schyler sisters, helpless
And guns and ships!

Saw Lion King on Broadway and in New Orleans. It’s truly amazing. Also saw Mama Mia, Wicked, Annie, Cats. Taking the wife to see The Color Purple in Feb. Would really like to see Hamilton.

I’m a fan. It’s not something I geek out over by any means, but when I go to them I enjoy them. I’ve seen:

Wicked (original cast)
Spamalot (original cast)
Lion King
Jersey Boys
Hairspray
Matilda
Les Miserables
Book of Mormon

I know I’m forgetting a bunch of other ones.

Hamilton is coming here this summer and already have tickets lined up for that.

I can understand why people wouldn’t like the theater. But the people who call it “gay” just sound like backwoods inbreds.

Over the years I've seen Footloose, Annie Get your Gun and Cat on a Hot tin Roof with Ashley Judd in her brief stint on Broadway in it..

We had decent seats and She bent over on stage wearing a nightgown and I saw her tits

13 year old me loved Broadway
