Baw only real crawfish festival is in Breaux Bridge and it was canceled this year.

We were there last night. No shots were fired and no guns were even brandished. It was a bunch of children being assholes. All under 15. My brother is a cop down there and was working by one of the gates. There were 3 actual fights where someone yelled gun and sent people scrambling. After the 2nd one we got the frick out.

When I walked in and saw the entire hood had showed up to Da Parish I told my wife and my mother that it was a bad idea. They both told me I was being stupid. The hood rats can ruin anything.

As for shutting it down, it never shut down but they did stop letting people in. My brother said the little shits were trying to jump the fences all around the area.
