I only learned how to fly them, not land them.

It feels like Going from 0-500 mph in about 5 minutes, and going from sea level to 43000 feet in 20 minutes.

It's pretty amazing. Breaking through a cloud layer will never get old to me.

Or flying at night when the air is smooth and you're somewhere remote and then a city of lights will start to appear in the distance is pretty cool too.

There's no better feeling than greasing a great landing either.

I could only imagine

How do you troubleshoot any occurring problems? How has flying improved over the years concerning safety and smooth flights?

It's quite exciting when a missile is chasing you.

I'm at PDX watching planes fly by, wasting time for a few more hours. It looks effortless, landing after landing, take off after another. What is it like flying an airliner? a plane of any type? Helicopters?

I have my private pilot's license and can tell you, it's probably the best thing I've ever done. It gives you a completely different perspective of things to slip the surly bonds of Earth and dance on the sky looking down on earth from a 3-D perspective. I fly a 172 based out of Slidell and love going every chance I get. It's not as effortless as it seems because the most stressful part of flying is landing but, there is nothing sweeter than when you grease one!

This video pissed me off

It seemed like it was going to be great, but they break away from every shot after like 3 secs. WTF?

I trained in a 172 and the basics aren't really hard. I soloed after 6 hours. I got my private in Gonzales and the flight back home after that accomplishment was one of the greatest feelings of my life.

Legit CSB You flew solo on the way home?
