Airplanes are so yesterday. Drones are the wave of the future.

I work for the FAA and we are getting almost more incidents, NMACs and complaints reported on Drones than anything else.

I like a girl that really works the stick but that is way over controlling a fly by wire jet

Is there a general consensus as to which single engine piston driven plane is the most dangerous?

I'm not a pilot, but I've read many times the WWII warplanes selling at surplus during the 50's killed quite a few amateur flyers. They were more difficult to fly, and their massive power could get you in trouble fast.

I didn't post it because of her flying abilities.

Those Airbus joysticks just seem really weird to me.

I guess she'd do on a short layover

What makes a plane, from a single engine piston driven to a commercial airliner, dangerous is improper maintenance. If an airplane is maintained properly, it's no more dangerous than anything else. Also, in most accidents/incidents/occurrences/deviations, it's not the airplane that is the cause but pilot error.

Really sad. I'm just wondering if he was knocked out and drowned or it the impact killed him.
I've always heard that hitting water is usually as bad as hitting dirt.

Writing that check for air time sure isn't. My son is in Aviation in school. He's got a contract to fly in the USMC when he graduates. Can't wait for Uncle Sam to take over his flight time.

Any slapdick with 35 hours and a private certificate can fly a drone.

Talk to me when you're a CFII.
