Pugs
Nothing like a Pug. They're awesome, although they can not take the heat very well.
When they grow up, they tend to get lazy and fat. I've had a Pug for the past 16 years. They're really sweet, good dogs.

I love all dogs- and definitely every dog I’ve ever owned but my Yorkshire terrier is the best dog I’ve ever owned. Super smart, crazy obedient, just a total joy. Like a human without all the shitbaggery.

We "inherited" a 15 yr old deaf Doxie this March after a friend of my wife died and no one in her family would take him. The deceased had really struggled with health challenges the last 7 years or so and the dog had been mostly house bound. He has gone from being fat and really scared/velcro'd to my wife who he knew to being pretty damn energetic for an old boy. He interacts very well with our 2 dogs, and we were told he would never go out in the rain to pee/poop and he goes out in the rain since he has been here and never had an accident. He has a very good temperament, an excellent nose, and the vet says he is very healthy for his age, ie no meds.
I know other people with them who like them, but they can have spinal issues and known for tooth loss as is the one we have. Doxies are too small for me if an only pet, but we glad we stepped up for him and he has really helped with our reactive dog become more accepting of other dogs. Corgis probably have the least health issues of the 3 you list.

We have a dachshund and he is good. He is 8 now and good with our kids. He was pretty easy to potty train. We have a 3 month old Great Dane now and he plays well with him also. They can be stubborn at times.

If your name was shitzu you would be an a-hole too.....

Doxies have really terrible breath In general. Pugs are awful looking. I’d try a Corgi.

Shih Tzu biggest a-hole you will ever meet but will love you like no other.

Let me tell you about Harvey.
This is him.
He has below average intelligence. Well below average. But that doesn’t stop him from being a loving dog.
He’s completely oblivious to other animals. Especially cats. He was very easy to potty train and LOVES to cuddle. He burrows under everything imaginable and will fight his way up under your blankets and legs and anything else to get snuggled up close to you.
Great with kids.
I’ve only had one of these things, but I’d say you can’t go wrong with a Dauschund.

Dachshunds can be snippy and very stubborn.

Have 18 yo female Dachshund Thinks she’s a Doberman, fearless. Bit of a yapper. Super sweet. Will sleep next to you all day. Dachshunds seem to have entertaining personalities.

Dauschunds are great. Very protective and very loving dogs. I’ve had two for 7 years and I assure you that nobody will get into your house even at night. Yes my female is a yapper, but my male is just a laid back dude...

I have a pug mix, a puggle. Best dog ever, definitely not a lap dog, they have a bit of personality and like to do their own thing. I would have one over and over, but they are not for people that want a dog to cuddle with.

Pugs tend to adapt to your personality. Grew up with one, and she was a great dog. Just wanted eat and cuddle a lot. Not the smartest of breeds though.

I'd get a puggle. Typically, you'll get a cooler looking dog, doesn't shed as much as a corgi (but close), is a bit more rugged and doesn't come with the Pug problems - breathing, drooling, etc. But does get the pug personality.
I have a puggle, she's a fatty and loyal and loving. Best dog I've ever had. They do shed quite a bit when we change from "winter" to Spring, but it's manageable.

Pugs are the best. Great with everyone.

Basically every Yorkie I’ve ever met is a dickhead to everyone outside of their owner.
