They target my parents since they’re the only successful ones out the bunch. They’re all fighting over the inheritance and my dad just let them have it to avoid all the garbage; just watching the situation unfold has given me so much respect for my parents.

Sounds familiar.

Whole wing of family, an uncle and his kids and their kids have worked sparingly, been arrested numerous times, totaled about a dozen cars through drunk or reckless driving (injuring others in process), battled drug addiction, had numerous kids by multiple trashy women/men that can’t tske care of themselves, burned down houses accidentally, borrowed money and stole medicine from my 90 year old grandmother, etc etc etc.

My parents always gave them and the kids nice gifts for Christmas, birthdays, Easter because they are still family and felt sorry for them. Not one of them has ever given a gift to anyone ever. Not even an inexpensive nice gift like a card. Totally unappreciative. One Christmas Eve, while my family and friends were all just enjoying each other’s company and having a good time, the trashy wing were sitting all sullen in chairs just staring. One of them said, “uhh...can we go ahead and get our gifts now?” The whole room of 15 people just went silent and awkwardly looked at them for about ten seconds. “Sure” my parents said. They gathered their gifts up and left.

The females in the bunch are all fat, the males are all skinny. They’re all dirty and reek of cigarettes. They’re all high school dropouts. My grandmother praises them constantly and feels my parents should take care of them. She even recently said that my parents don’t know what hard work is. My parents have worked hard all their lives, it is how they have money and nice things. This bunch now ranges in ages from 60 on down to kids. My parents have grown tired of their attitudes and pretty much stopped associating with them.

Have a ne’er do well BIL that was on drugs for quite a while, married 4 times, 3 kids, never paid child support, stole from FIL/MIL, let 2 homes MIL funded for him go back to the bank, wrecked 3 cars, bailed out of jail several times, and currently has his hand out waiting for the his part of the estate when they die. Once he found he was not going to get their house after they RIP, he barely stops to see them.
Oh well, I’ll have a blast as executor of the estate and saying “he’ll no” to him as often as I can.

Seriously ... I need a license to drive, fish, hunt, practice medicine, practice law, carry a concealed handgun, etc, etc, etc. Create another human being? Have at it! Anything goes! When I'm in charge, not everyone is going to be allowed to reproduce. (Or own power tools, but that's another discussion). Sterilization will be offered at no cost to the individual. However, rather than putting an unlicensed parent in prison, I'll be taking the children away from the unworthy parents and delivering them to pre-approved adoptive parents. Might even have state run "orphanages" that actually care and nurture the children, teaching them right from wrong and helping them become productive members of society, instead of the street urchins they're doomed to become with their birth parents. My idea can't be any worse than what's currently happening in the U.S.

While I agree with the sentiment, it’s not much of a free country if Uncle Sam can just take your kids and sterilize you without your consent.

My fix would be to offer the same amount of welfare given to a single woman with 3 kids to a single woman with no kids if she gets her tubes tied.

If she has one kid and gets fixed, she can have welfare for 2 kids.

1) this gives each individual the right to choose their path.

2) it will severely decrease the size of the next generation of leaches and hopefully wipe it out completely in time.

Or do away with welfare except for extreme cases and stop incentivizing single motherhood/fatherless homes.

One loser aunt with 3 loser kids. Though in the grand scheme, she isn’t that terrible.

She could never keep a job. Spent several years doctor shopping for disibility, eventually got it (which still pisses me off). Got foreclosed on at least once, declared BK too. Both her daughters had kids in high school and I believe her some still lives at home at 32.

Once told my mom that me and my sisters moved away from our hometown because we didn’t love them, while her kids loved her so much that they could never think of moving away.

Sorry Auntie, it’s called a “career”. Me and my sisters have them, your kids don’t.

Really, she’s just a garden variety loser, but it’s the worst my family has.

Yep. Step kids dad. Never pays child support. We inevitably get a check from his tax returns every year. Except last year. The SO called to see what had happened a couple weeks ago. He said he "didn't feel like filing his taxes last year."

You’re lucky compared to my SO’s ex

Not yet.

Fingers crossed it continues.

I married pretty well too, so there’s that.
