I am in law school and memorized this statement for my Constitutional Criminal Procedure exam, and the damn professor did not ask an essay question on the "Fruit of the Poisonous Tree Doctrine," so I will use it here.
Has the taint been sufficiently attenuated? The temporal proximity is too close, the taint remains.

Production company setup shop and closed off a few streets for the shoot back in April.

I noticed how the van is driving away at the end down Church Street, but they were loading it on a now closed off section of Belanger Street which is in front of where the van starts on the wide shot.
Also, I don't think they used Houma people. It looks like they did a casting call of faties across America.
They did make the Plaza look nice. For as much what went into the plaza, the parish and Rotary could have added some greenery to it like in the commercial.
Also, notice the subtle yellow tint and yellows all over the place. Yellow is the most visible and attention-grabbing color to the human eye, stimulating both red- and green-sensitive cone cells at once.

They really spruced up downtown Houma for that commercial. Passed through there 3-4 years ago and it looked like the 9th ward.
