Who the hell still uses razors anymore? Waste of money.
I use a safety razor. I paid about $200 for my entire setup about 7 years ago with 100 blades. I don’t shave everyday and will sometimes go months without actually shaving and just using a trimmer. But I still have probably 20 blades left and have only bought like 3 or 4 tubes of shaving cream in those 7 years. So maybe $250 to shave for 7 years. Not too bad.

I have spent about $40 on shaving the past 4 years or so.

So, you don’t shave and have a big gross beard?
Don’t get me wrong - I like manly, hairy men - but having an unkempt beard with last week’s cheetos in it is gross

I'm sure this guy will get rich taking advantage of peoples' feelings though.

Good for him. He’s found something that resonates with his customers.
Much better than having ones money taken through confiscatory taxes to fund things that don’t resonate with the individual.

So anyone who doesn't shave has a big gross beard with cheetos in it?
I'm thinking there might be a middle ground, like a well groomed beard using a beard trimmer.

Kork in with the predictable shite take. You and Jay Are are going rounds to be the stupidest frickstick on this forum. Good luck!

So where are these razors made? US, China, Korea?
Posted on 3/27/22 at 8:18 pm to GeauxxxTigers23
I had Harry’s for a bit when they first came out. Not a bad deal and this one doesn’t seem bad either. I swapped to a safety razor though.
Merkur slant bar, $50. 5oz tub of proraso shave soap $6, boar brush $15, 50 pack of Japanese feather blades, $15. Blades will last a few years (I replace every month or so as I only shave twice a week), soap about a year.
But the downside is you’ll slice your shite open if you aren’t careful.

Hence the word ‘unkempt’ in my post

Correct, you did assume unkempt when the poster you're replying to said nothing of the sort.

Bought a Merkur safety razor and a 100 pack of Feather blades back when Gillette was doing all this nonsense. I Get a couple shaves out of each blade.

Centinel predictably got his feelings hurt.
This brand is 100% marketing on feelings. The word "hate" is featured prominently in the message.

Definitely real.
Made the switch yesterday, while watching an Addis commercial telling me how great it would be if my daughter was a trans athlete.

I asked if the poster had a big gross beard - I didn’t assume anything
Then I stated that I liked manly, hairy men but the unkempt beards are a no-no
I never made any generalizations about beards
