Because your decision to ride a motorcycle without a helmet or not wear a seatbelt only harms you. Not vaxxing your kids outs me and my family at risk. Your rights end where they interfere with mine.

I prefer going down-a in the sauna. It makes for strong sperm and eggs.

There needs to be a well-funded scientific study to ferret out the truth.
This is a great idea. Someone should get right on it.

I really don't know what to think. I encounter more and more autistic kids every year. And no, it's got nothing to do with advances in modern diagnosis. The kids are noticeably autistic and there are more of them than there used to be just 20 years ago. I personally know 6 women I went to school with who have autistic kids.
I'm not saying vaccines cause it, but something seems to be.
If this is actually true for the entire population, then it could be many things - leeching plastics from cups/bottles, anitbiotics in meat, etc.

Yep. But they blame the upswing on "improvements in diagnosis," so to them, it's already settled.
That's really troubling.
Have you provided a source to proof of an actual observed upswing, or are we 100% reliant on your personal anecdotal experiences?

Those are all legitimate issues that need to be resolved: antibiotics in meat should be banned, and leaching plastics is a huge problem.
But, it is still a fact that there is a link between vaccines and autism, and only the sheep believe the drug companies.

quote:The autism spectrum has vastly expanded. More people are diagnosed because 1) it's being identified in kids who, 30 years ago, would have been ignored and 2) because autism is no longer one single behavior type. It's more like cancer now where there are different types and severities.
But, it is a fact that the inexplicable rise of autism correlates (see, correlation) with vaccine use and changes to the makeup of vaccines. Hence, causation.
Oh and obligatory Stupid bitch.

e: kinda surprising that someone went through all the effort to make an alter to troll one thread

You really should eat quinoa. You're close to being brain dead.

Hey Sabi...
Want to guess what my wife
did her Master's Thesis on? Autism "correlation" to vaccines...
She's worked with multiple children diagnosed with it. Some mild and some severe. Read of ton of books. Some of the most interesting, coolest people in the world.

that was me. and again, the flu shot isn't the same as a measles vaccine. I am 100% for vaccination for major diseases. The lethal disease I was referring to the other day has been documented in dozens of medical journals to be brought on by a flu shot and is proven to be hereditary.

I don't need quinoa but I enjoy eating it - it is a rare plant that is a source of complete protein.
I am well educated and far from brain dead.

quote:Well, that's the problem. There is a provable upswing in autism cases, but because it's credited to the advances in diagnosis, it seems to be impossible to determine whether that is the case or if there are actually more autistic kids.
Have you provided a source to proof of an actual observed upswing, or are we 100% reliant on your personal anecdotal experiences?
I'm sure modern diagnosis does have a lot to do with the overall number of cases along every autism spectrum, but I can't ignore the severe cases I see every day. 6 women I grew up with. And that's just the ones I know about, and in general, I see more of these kids all the time. I'm not imagining this.
