I did not say that the websites were correct, I said that they raise some legitimate concerns. There is a difference.

Hmmm, didn't take the bait... might not be a heather alter after all.

There are also websites that claim pyramids were built by aliens

No one claims that the pyramids were built by aliens. They claim, with some pretty substantial evidence, that the builders had alien assistance.

You need to quit assuming that everyone who does not fall for the historical lies is crazy.

Im saying if anti vaccers are minimal in number, they are "crazy" "dumb" "should be killed", and everyone else is vaccinated anyway, why would the FDA or anyone care?

Jcorye compared them. Not me. Im just asking questions here since you guys have all the answers.

Because the vaccine doesn't "take" 100% of the time in every single individual (most are somewhere between 90 - 95%). In order for the vaccine to be effective, there must be a certain percentage of the population inoculated to prevent a suitable reservoir from developing, hence the term "herd immunity". We seem to be approaching that tipping point in certain parts of the United States with certain diseases.

Oh, and what damn websites has the FDA shut down for spouting anti-vaccination nonsense?

The FDA regularly deals with drugs that will be distributed to less than .01 percent of the population, so I don't know what size has to do with it.

Improvements in diagnosis may be one thing leading to higher number of children on the spectrum.
Uh, no. Kids who run around the house, screaming and beating their heads against the wall isn't something that was "always there and we just didn't have the ability to diagnose it." Kids like these have increased in numbers.

I see this regularly now. I even saw it during X-mas while staying at my brother's house. The kid next door kept me awake every other night.

One of the women I know who has an autistic kid also has 4 other kids without autism. She says the only thing she did differently with that kid was the modern vaccine sets.

She had 1.7 million followers. Random mommy blog?

Again just asking questions here. As I observe both sides it appears some on the pro- vaccine side are just as angry and condescending as some on the anti-vaxx side. Several in this thread alone are showing that.

I believe certain vaccines (not all, but the big ones - DTaP, Hep B, HiB, etc) should be mandated with exceptions for legitimate medical reasons, and it's perfectly within libertarian principles to enforce such measures.

So clearly, it was the vaccines that caused the austism.

I'm no one's alter ego. I do a yoga workout every other day so I picked that name. It has nothing to do with yoga pants.
