Why aren’t people wearing Halloween masks? Great choices out there.

I've been avoiding watching the news for months, and when tOT gets over the top, I just escape to hang with the baws in the FBD thread.

I had this idea months ago since there is no requirement on any specific type of face covering.

how many times have we shifted on if masks even help at this point?
I guess it depends on what you mean by "we" but I think the answer is 1 if you are referring to official recommendations.

I guess that's the point of contention. And I've been on record with this before so no need to get into it here, but we know what we need to do to slow the spread of it. People are just too selfish or stupid to do it. People say that democrats want to shut everything down to ruin the economy, but we were in phase 3 here in Chicago for a while and have recently gone to phase 4. It's working because everyone wears a mask inside and people take the distancing seriously. Same goes for NY, though I'm not sure what phase they're in. I do know their cases are remaining SUPER low.

Sorry baw, I'm consistently floored at how willfully ignorant people are being about this. I want some fricking football and a bunch of idiots are making that less of a likelihood every day because they think they know better than the experts, medical professionals, etc.

Yeah, cause not wearing a mask is what's fricking up our sports, economy, businesses.

Its not what, its who.

Have you considered it could be a little bit of both?

frick, if someone said to me, listen, you may not understand it, but I need you to think about this and do this one thing, and if if you do that we'll actually get to have football this fall. But, like I said above, everyone thinks they know better than the people who actually do know.

But whatever, almost time to start drinking.

Random question...those of you anti-mask people. Did you always hate masks? Or just recently? If you or a loved one have had a surgery in the past, did you mandate that the surgeons and staff in the room not wear masks because they don't work and you hate them so much?

Look up any polls about the American public's sentiment on Trump's handling of the virus. Trump's trump card had been the economy, and the longer this drags on, the more deaths continue to climb, the less of a chance he has to win in November. So the people who are his most ardent supporters are the ones who are going to cost him the election.

Yeah, I have. And, not being a retarded sheep made it very easy to see through the bullshite and not believe everything your overlords want people to believe.
Have you considered its not both, or do you want football so bad that you'll do whatever you're told to do?
