An Amazon delivery driver was caught on camera repeatedly punching a 67-year-old woman during an argument in California, authorities say
Video shows it clearly was not self defense

Those drivers are contract employees with an independent company likely for this reason.

The liability they are trying to escape is mostly labor laws and such. They lease the vans to the "delivery partners" as they call them. Amazon will pay up some money on this just to make it go away IMO.

I love how they both continued on like nothing happened about ten seconds later. She even opened the door for the delivery driver and she started dragging packages in.

They probably moved her into management.
What's funny to me is the number of people defending her in the responses to the Twitter post. Reverse the roles, and these same people would be calling for the white woman's head on a platter.

If you stumbled upon them and saw that assault bell to bell, would you feel justified in kicking the shite out of that driver lady? I wouldn’t feel bad about delivering a beat down on a woman like that. Knee to that ugly arse mug might ensure this never happens again.

I'm can't believe the Amazon driver was not black. I have never seen anyone but a black Amazon driver in our area.
