The same day, John interviewed Laughlin. She initially denied the relationship but later said she was talking with the student over Snapchat. She said she didn't know the victim was a minor until the day before the interview.
If she had just waited until he was 17 with a change of careers nothing would have happened to her, but I am guessing being legal would not have excited her as much.
As for the kid feeling uncomfortable not all 16 year olds are ready to jump into sex especially if it’s a married teacher. He sent some pics of himself back to her twice and kissed her, but then felt uncomfortable when she pushed for sex. Maybe it was religious issue, girlfriend issue, or just feeling overwhelmed or emotionally conflicted by a married teacher at his school pushing aggressively for sex, but good for him for backing away if he didn’t feel comfortable about situation. If he could have that teacher I doubt he will be settling for much less in the looks department when he does have sex.
Regardless of student’s age or sex of the teacher or even having sex with a classmate more kids need to be taught to trust their instincts in these situations and not have sex until they are ready including emotionally and for any consequences and are comfortable with the person including their relationship situation.
Teenagers mature at different rates with some looking at that as purely an act of sex and others equating it to love and emotions that will burn them with a crazy teacher willing to destroy her marriage and career for this. Just because it doesn’t fit your current choice as an adult or some unfulfilled fantasy that you may have had at 15 or 16 does not mean it was the wrong choice by this kid just because the teacher is hot. Don’t make the mistake of assuming your son can handle that type of situation and cheer him on.

That's the problem with the OT. Most posters have smooth brains and can't think beyond their micro-peens. A 16 year old is on the extreme high end of emotionally immature.
