Baws, if your wife says peace out and wanted a divorce, when did you stop wearing your wedding ring?

I'm sure I'll get a lot of alpha "I threw that shite in trash" answers, but I'm really wondering.

Been separated 2.5 months with apparently no chance of reconciliation, but still find myself wearing it every day.

I took mine off the day we decided to call it quits. For a while it was in a drawer, but I honestly don't even know where it is now. I've moved twice since then so it's probably long gone.

It was hard for me to let go. Even when I knew the divorce was coming. I kept it on during the separation and through everything as a symbol of hope.

I took it off as I walking back inside the house from getting a big manilla envelope out of my mailbox. Before I even opened the divorce papers.

The custom is wear it one week for every year you were married.

It will come in handy when you decide you want to pick up some random women. They love married men. When you are ready for something more serious, then take the ring off.

Keep it to wear when you go hangout at the bar. Wedding rings are like magnets for slutty women.

I don't want to give my soon to be ex any more reason to try to go after me. Bitches talk, and the last thing I need is her reneging on agreements before filed, and telling the judge I'm committing adultery.

My ring was forged by dwarves out of star metal. So I mean I'd keep and wear it in any circumstance. Never know when I'll find a wizard or druid to enchant it.

As hard as it may be, try to be nice and reasonable until the papers are signed. Then do or say anything you want. Don't poke a sleeping bear - women are mean and vengeful.

That's where I am at right now, although hope is fading fast.

Ha, I guess in the past, I've never paid much attention. I've been to bars before, without my wife, while wearing my ring, but I wasn't looking for it, either.

Yes, especially since there are two kids involved. If for nothing else, I'm trying to be civil for their sake.
