Charles Schwab to move headquarters to DFW from San Francisco

When finished, the new 1 million-square-foot Westlake campus would be able to house up to 7,000 employees.

Hooray for these Bay Area transplants that will vote for the same policies that caused their company to flee in the first place

They’re booming too. Don’t think they Bay Area is in a decline. Texas is doing something unprecedented in the modern US economy. What Texas is doing economically is nothing short of amazing.

Well looks like we'll be giving our homes and guns away to the homeless in the next decade. I can smell the fresh street shite in the morning.

And they’ll end up supporting the same policies that’s caused them to leave California. They should just stay away

any person from california that moves to a new state should not be allowed to vote or run for political office for a minimum of 25 years

A lot of these transplants are moving areas that are largely already liberal voters. Unfortunately Westlake is part of Denton County and they are currently a conservative district but I think it'll take a LOT more voters to turn it blue.

Dallas is the only blue county in a large surrounding currently and they have a TON of corruption in their politics and police force.

Good move by Charles Schwab. This is one to watch. Moderate risk move for Charles Schwab and if CS thrives it will be very good for the Dallas Metro area.

We’re small, compared to Schwab, but we moved 6 companies from CA to TX starting 5 years ago and it’s been one of the reasons we’ve been able to become a $125MM+ group.

So many more affordable and pro-business opportunities here.
