That’s the way it was when I was a freshman.

Good. If they don't like it they can go to Tulane or SLU.

Did you even go to LSU bro?

Nah, bro. I’m completely making shite up. I actually live in Maine.

Dining halls are terrible. They shut down the Mag room in the union which was the best place on campus for lunch outside of faculty club 2 years ago.

I didn’t say they were all Does Eat Place. It’s like $6.00 a meal. The point was that it’s available and certainly sufficient for freshmen living on campus.

They are only open from like 7am - 9pm and don’t have actual food half the time. I don’t think the 459 is open everyday either.

I don’t really see the issue with their hours, but ok.

New library will probably go where the parking lot is by south Stadium and fieldhouse across from the airplane.

Military Science isn’t going anywhere

Man i have to say, all of your excuses are really lame. Oh no i may have to leave a little early to make my class on time. Oh no i have to eat in the dining hall.

Nut the frick up, you're a freshman in college (or the hypothetical you in this case is). You aren't suppose to have every luxury in the world.

I dont know, the way you come off in this thread, maybe college isn't for you.

People didn’t expect to be cottled 35 years ago because the prices were lower. Now, students are paying high premiums for housing, tuition, parking passes, and meal plans, so they want to feel like they’re getting their money’s worth. I get it.

Exactly. I wouldn’t have paid $28k in tuition and fees alone every year as out of state to the university if I knew things would go downhill after F Kings admin came to full power and began changing the campus.

Also cheaper to eat at Chipotle 2 times a day than buy a $2k a semester basic meal plan.

I'm paying those exact fees. If tomorrow the administration said my kid had to park by Alex box and use tiger trails I wouldn't be bothered at all.

This is in the works, FWIW. Want more green spaces on campus. Freshman will just be phase 1. They want to create a giant hub that non professor employees and students all will be forced to park at (still pay to park) and then trolly in.

It will be a logistics nightmare for traffic.

More of a master plan issue
I do think plan is to put outlier lots and shuttle them to and from campus. The talk was to do that with employees as well. Talk about a nightmare when it's raining.

He’s going to hate it when he has to get a real job and plan for traffic, walk somewhere in a suit, and eat mediocre lunches the vendor brings in or available at the cafe in the first floor of his building.
