I was just about to throw me some Tyson chicken on the grill. May they rest in peace, those birds.

caught on hidden camera violently punching, throwing, and maliciously torturing animals for fun.
Those are sick individuals.

The dynamic of a slaughterhouse has always struck me as a bit of a paradox. You would need to hire people without any predispositions for cruelty or abuses of animals since the environment offers a perfect opportunity for abusers, but what normal person wants to work in a slaughterhouse where you watch animals being herded together and killed all day? It seems like it would attract the exact kind of people that shouldn't be working there.

I think a majority of people find the torturing of animals to be be pretty fricking evil.

You realize meat comes from animals.
They die. No one really cares how they die until they get it thrown in their face, then the false outrage comes.
Death isn't pretty. Systematic slaughter is even uglier.
You don't want to eat meat because of how it comes to the plate? Then don't eat meat, shut the frick up, and munch on your kale.

Torturing animals?
They are chickens in a slaughterhouse. The slaughter procedure had a hiccup. A bit more time passed and then they were as dead as billions of other animals.
They weren't hooking jumper cables up to their fricking nipples.

I was thinking the same thing. It's one thing to work on a farm or butcher shop, but it would take desperation--or something else--to hold a job where you're simply tasked with systematically killing animals in bulk on a daily basis. I'm sure the pay is par with any other unskilled labor. But in the end, somebody's gotta do it, because I'm not going to give up meat.

did you work there, man?....

bullshite?
You ever raised an animal for slaughter? Ever killed something with your bare hands?
Meat comes from something. It isn't pretty or glamourous but if you want meat on your table for cheap then you better get over the fact that it is slaughtered.

Man...Jesus...
Half of me wants to say "as long as they are not fricking them, who cares?"
But the other half of me wants to contemplate becoming vegan.
Decisions, decisions...

Chicken slaughterhouses are disgusting when everything runs smooth. Not sure what was going on there but it ain't a pretty sight ever. Just a part of the high volume of animals that pass through.
Part of putting meat on the table.
