Right?

This whole social distancing concept has been warped. You should get out of the house, just keep distances of a few feet and don't touch without gloves.

People need to get out, just be cautious,

My otherwise healthy 75 yo father is out and about in Savannah actively trying to get infected before his next round of chemo starts up, likely this summer.

I went into Costco the other day and some old bitch was sitting there eating grapes.

Just hanging out in the produce section. Snacking away.

They've spent their entire lives being selfish, egotistical pricks. What makes you think they'll change now?

As a Boomer I will reply to your comment.

Let me put this as delicately and diplomatically as possible.

Our freedom will not be limited by some bleeding vagina telling us what we will do.

You think your freedom is somehow more valuable than ours?

Shelter in place is a good idea for you. That means you're staying the frick out of our way.

I’m all for lifting all restrictions and sacrificing some old people for everyone’s freedom. Will save us a shite load of money in social security and Medicare while we are at it

Yep. I’ve made the same observations. Most of the people I see out and about are older.

Do you holler at them to get off your lawn?

I love how everyone is on here talking about the boomers being out and about and how horrible they are for doing it. Meanwhile, every time you turn on the tv all you see is 20 something's jammed shoulder to shoulder on beaches because muh partying.

No, I'm not part of a collective and I don't have a hive mentality.

I get what you’re saying.

But freedom isn’t freedom unless it’s exercised. If I go out and I end up catching this and End up dying, just torch my house with me in it.

This is why we should open everything back up. All of the old people have been warned. If they want to go out and get sick then let them do so. I won't give a shite if they die since they know the risks.

They really just wish the younger generation would quit acting like P^ssies and not be so gullible. Hardly anything they've seen in the past 20 years has been the truth, so why should they believe any of it now? If they get the ASIAN aids and die, then they did it while being free and not cowering in their home. And never once did they ask for all you young idiots to sacrifice anything for them. Now you want a thanks because you ruined the economy and took 3 weeks vacation? Whatever P^ssy.

I won't say I agree with them, but they've seen more death than most of us to know what it's about.

I went to Walmart today and I saw a disturbingly large amount of people in general standing around socializing in groups, many boomers and elderly among them.

They don’t seem to care, but I’m sure they would start to care if they get sick and all of a sudden they will want that hospital bed and/or utilize a ventilator in a potentially avoidable situation.

Will those same old people be ok if we ended up in an Italian situation where if we have to decide who gets a ventilator, the younger people get first dibs?
