The restrictions are because of hysteria created by Chicken Littles like you.
Boomers would say take precautions. Go about business. Some people are going to die. That is how life works.
Gov. Coumo said today. In the 2018=2019 flu season. 34,000+ people died. Guess what. It happened then. It's happening now. It will happen again next year.

I 100% agree with this. The government isn't going to get my compliance because they are the government. They will get my compliance when they show me facts and figures that this disease is real and we should take it seriously. Which they have been doing. The media sensationalizes. The CDC and the WHO does not. Go look at their website, look at the age of the people getting this thing, look at the numbers of tests/medical supplies that hospitals are reporting.
Far be it from anyone to tell anyone they can't leave, but all of yall who are laughing at this thing are dangerous. Again, it's your right to be dangerous in this country, but it's also my right to call you out on it and tell you how selfish you're being.
I'm 27 with no serious underlying health condition, but I still don't want to get sick. Yall who are 60+, with a little extra baggage, going around to these golf courses, home depots, etc. like it's just another day? You will likely die if you catch this due to everyone getting sick at the same time. Again, your choice, but it won't surprise me at all when a bunch of people are crying about how they can hardly breathe and the hospital refuses to see them/test them because they aren't in the process of dying.

I'm saying I want my personal liberty back, all of it, and if all these people keep going about like nothing is going on, my liberty will continue to be diminished
whether or not you or I think this is a big deal is completely and utterly irrelevant
what is relevant is that the people making these decisions do think its a big deal and until they get the numbers they want, they will continue to put more restrictions on all of us
and the only way right now for us to get to those numbers if for all us to stay the frick home as much as possible
this isn't fricking complicated
