The Dice Man Cometh was legendary stand up comedy of the time, along with Eddie Murphy Raw and Delirious and the Bob Nelson routine at Dangerfield’s about the MFL.... aw shite, the NFL. The Sam Kennsion bit on sand in the Middle East was also classic.

He still tours. Saw him live a couple of years ago and I've never laughed so hard in my life. He insulted a couple sitting in the front so intensely that first she left then he left to Dice shouting, "go on after her pussy!" I had enough sense not to sit in the very front.

I remember listening to him when he first came out and my dad walked in the room, I thought he was going to be offended, the next thing I know he is laughing almost uncontrollably. He was convinced that Dice spent time in 9th Ward bars circa 1960.

Dice is a very good actor as well. He played a mobster in an 80's TV show, Crime Story with Dennis Farina, Stephen Lang and Anthony Denison. He was recently in a Woody Allen Movie and a HBO mini series about the music biz.

It’s amazing to me that you people can’t handle seeing the f word on a message board but apparently appreciate this guys vulgarity. How about getting some morals that make sense?

Cursing isn’t allowed on this message board. It’s not enforced as much now but it really used to be.

You do realize that you have a setting selected on your profile that filters curse words right?

Dice is funny as shite, but even funnier than Dice is Anthony from Opie and Anthony doing Dice impersonations. He's a better Dice than Dice. Look up "Andrew Dice Gay" on youtube, fricking hilarious.

The Diceman!

quote:

I was watching his Diceman Cometh show on YouTube and it has aged well (unless you are a soy boy.) There's no way he would last on stage for 10 minutes today without his mic getting cut.

With the bullshite liberal protestors and fraudulent BLM insanity - we can use a good dose of the Diceman.

Just sitting here thinking...in today's political arena, thankfully we can say, TRUMP is our Diceman! The greatest POTUS of my lifetime.

Me too. Also saw Sam Kenison at Municipal Auditorium around the same time (a short time before he died.)

Much earlier but I saw Rodney Dangerfield at the Saenger around '82 or so.
