I'm a fan of comedian Bobby Lee, most people know him as the asian dude that was on MAD TV. Dude is a nut and extremely underrated as a comic... anyways...

On a podcast he was talking about the old days at the Comedy Store in L.A.. and Dice would come there a lot and hang out even after he got big. He didn't know Bobby and just randomly started calling him "Ching." Like, "hey, Ching, come here!" Bobby said to him, "dude that's racist," and Dice said, "no... I mean like 'cha-ching!' because your so money!" But Bobby knew he was being racist. But Bobby isn't a bitch and bobby realized it was a joke and they became friends... Ahhhh, the good ol' days of comedy.

The first time I saw Dice was on an HBO comedy special Rodney Dangerfield hosted back in the late 80's to get some screen time for a bunch of unknown comics like Dice, Sam Kinnison and Rosanne Barr. To this day it's probably still the funniest single comedian showcase I've ever seen.

I surprised his act lasted as long as it did. I remember his poems and beliitlement of Barbara Streisand during the late 80’s.

Rodney was a good dude. Paid forward what Johnny Carson did for him. Speaking of Kinison, it's sad when you think of all the comedians we lost way too early. Belushi, Kinison, Farley, etc. You could even throw classic Eddie Murphy in there too (I hope we see at least some of that come back in BHC 4.)
