Go read my last post again. The statistics people cite reference disparities between individuals who are convicted of capital murder and whether they are sentenced to life or the death penalty. People in non death penalty states, or people convicted of non capital murder (like second degree murder in Louisiana) aren’t included in that analysis.

Not your last post, but the one before it. Okay, so where is this study, and who is it from?

You want him to wipe your arse and do all your homework too? Here is another fun fact, the race of the victim plays a huge role in whether the murderer is sentenced to death, regardless of the murderer's race.

No, I'll just accept any and all claims by any and all claimants. No need to verify anything, or whether the claim is agenda driven.

And our streets are littered with drug addicts, drug overdoses, and destroyed families because dealers are pushing drugs.

We have an under incarceration problem and this case is a prime example of it.

I just skimmed over a study making similar claims, mostly centered around Philadelphia, it seems.

Philadelphia, a town that hasn't had a republican mayor since 1952, and has had a total of 2 republican District Attorneys since 1952, and right now sits at roughly 41% black and 34% white population, is just out there throwing the death penalty at black men disproportionally, because of the color of their skin. Does that sound right to anyone?

I mean sure, it's understood that democrats are racist, always have been and always will be. But you're going to tell me that these black jurors that are convicting and sentencing these black men to the death penalty are racist as well?

The United States over incarceration problem is real and it disproportionately affects low income (and yes black) citizens. I’m not against locking up violent offenders, but our prisons are littered with nonviolent drug charges.

Lol, this isn’t what’s happening.

True, but because of the bottom.

Say "poor" and not "low income" so you don't sound like a raging douche. Also, irrelevant.

Absolutely, 100% true.

1. No demand, no supply. Fix the junkies and no one will buy/incentivize the creation of drugs.
2. The VAST majority of distributions are from petty, pathetic people on worker's comp or other benefits, broken people selling a couple pills here, a bag there. 99.99999999% aren't the Mexican Cartel. At best, you'd need to get the Uhauls going from Houston to Florida, not your piddling local junkies selling a few grams to their junky friends here and there.

I have always been in favor of a system like Escape from NY. Wall off a freaking deadbeat city like Seattle, LA, Portland, whatever and send them there to fight it out amongst themselves. Gets rid of the overcrowding of prisons that tax payers pay for and incrementally increases over time. You pay a one time fee to put the infrastructure and security in and then ongoing monitoring/guards. Got to be cheaper than what we do now and life span would be short so no overcrowding. The best part is they would be subjected to similar violence that they inflicted on innocent people. Win win if you ask me.

No I know exactly what it means and so did the poster I quoted. Seems like you don’t know what it means. Your argument Is based solely on emotion and therefore you aren’t even comprehending what you’re reading from others who disagree because your panties are in a wedgie clean up your arse!

In another post right after that you take what I said about the death penalty being a deterrent and made a claim that it universally wasn’t. In what universe is this? Furthermore you obviously overlooked what I said when I said the death penalty needed some work as well because it doesn’t have the teeth it needs presently. But again you’re so eager to fly off the handle and try to come off as an authority and smartest person in the room which yields you just looking like an emotional snowflake dumbass.

That second picture means the people that killed her has made things even more complicated. Where is the outrage from “the community” ?
