You watched this video and thought the cop is the one who got emotional and over reacted?
Take your frickin citation and move along. It’s not that hard.

If I'm being honest here, I do have to agree that the cop is the one who escalated the situation by wanting to arrest her over littering. She was being an entitled bitch looking for a reason to sue, but the cop reacted instead of responded.
Im just curious.
Let's just say that the cop sees her throw the ticket onto the ground.
And instead of arresting her, he writes her another ticket.
Where do you see this going that I am not seeing where this is going?

how many times does he need to ask to step out the vehicle before he can pull her out?
25? 50? 150 times?
They should politely ask you once while telling them this is the only request they'll make. Then it's on you what happens afterwards.

It's crazy because in the rare event I get pulled over which has happened once in the last 10 years I'm trying to be as nice as possible to avoid a ticket and get off with a warning instead of a citation.
That's my approach and it usually works.

One of them has been trained to handle this situation.
One of them is doing a job that has a standard to maintain.
Citizens act all kinds of ways. The LEO has one way to act. I don't really care about how the citizen acts. The LEO will take care of it.
I care about the LEO following procedure and maintaining the standard.
Cop got emotional and overreacted.
He used poor judgment to arrest her when she threw out the paper he dropped in her car.
If the citizen does not accept the ticket, he is supposed to retain it, not drop it in her car and escalate the situation.

she caused that reaction then refused to get out her car her fault

She caused him to react that way?
If that's true, he has no business being in that profession.

He should have let her throw it on the ground and drive away. Arrest warrant will be issued when she fails to appear/pay the fine.

yeah dragging her out of the car was a little much. All he had to do was write her another ticket and go on his way. If whatever she did originally didn’t warrant arrest then certainly throwing a piece of paper out her window didn’t warrant it either.
She’s a moron yes but he should have and could have easily kept his cool. I get it, there’s no way I could do that job and not commit brutality occasionally. No winners here

You’re a joke. She was the only one that was emotional.
He gave her her license AND the ticket. She separated the ticket and threw it out the car. He did not “drop” it into the car.
I bet you cheered when Obama got on National tv, to proclaim that “ the police acted stupidly”. Then had to stage a kiss arse Beer Summit.
Trying to wiggle an excuse for this type of behavior shows that you are willing to “ act stupidly.

I fully understand why many black men don’t want to stay around and be with their baby’s momma

The real sweet part would be when that warrant is sent out, and she's pulled over again and asked to step out, and she asks for the supervisor, this guy shows up.

there is no difference between the classic black citizenry and their “disrespek” trigger and what this cop did. He got angry because she didn’t show respect and he got violent. That woman is an a-hole, she clearly doesn’t think rules apply to her. But he got angry and I don’t blame him for getting angry…should have stepped away
