"LM guy"? Not sure what that means, sorry. He teaches English to Japanese children of various ages. As for traffic, as noted, there are bike riders, all ages & sexes, everywhere. Saw many in coats & ties, briefcases tied on the back. The train system is widely used, everywhere & those bullet trains are incredible. In the areas I visited, English is not widely spoken at all. The only signs in English I saw was "Toilet". D-in-law told me Japan is 90-95% Japanese, the main reason their society / culture has changed very very little over the centuries. Female suicides are so high as there is very little room for females there to "move up", professionally & socially. The elderly, especially the males, are almost worshipped.

I really hate people like this. History lesson for the ignorant folks. America had slaves because the whole world all throughout history had slaves. It was AFRICANS that enslaved AFRICANS, white people just bought the already enslaved people. It took WHITE AMERICANS, and WHITE EUROPEANS to stand up and end slavery. In fact, after the slave trade was banned by the U.K, it was their Navy that patrolled the oceans by Africa to intercept slave traders. Millions of WHITE AMERICANS died to end slavery. Now talk to me about building america one more time

The subway stations are massive, with multiple subway train operators providing access to different parts of town. So you have to go to the correct company’s kiosk
