The movie was a great idea and done well. The problem is whitey just refused to accept it. We have to keep doing films like this to keep educating whitey. We can’t give up.

Not even black people (or you know...people) wanted to see this terribly labored and hackneyed bag of discarded parking lot diapers.
I mean...let's take this scene from the movie.
quote:
"What's the most dangerous animal on the planet?" Roger asks.
"Sharks," Aren guesses.
"White people," Roger reveals, "when they feel uncomfortable. White people feeling uncomfortable precedes a lot of bad stuff for us. That's why we fight White discomfort every day, because the happier they are, the safer we are."
Okay... now we'll re-block that scene
"What's the most dangerous animal on the planet?" Roger asks, speaking English, enjoying the benefits of western civilization.
(Meanwhile l, in the background)
"Sharks?" Aren guesses
quote:

There, that's better

Imagine choosing to watch this over Dune 2.

If they didn’t go the racist route with it, and just made it magical, everyone in the society that helped uncomfortable people in general, it could have worked a little. But nooooo, let’s play the race card bc that’s what they do.

The funny thing about it is black people don't like the movie either. So I still don't really understand their target audience.

Maybe they can do " The Hobbit" and make them all black?
Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead has just been remade with a black cast. Destined to be an OT favorite.

Not many people made that mistake

Right? Imagine choosing Coming To America in 1988 over Bull Durham, Bloodsport or The Last Temptation of Christ.

I bet way more woke white retards saw this than black people. And the only blacks who saw it were female and possibly some of their cucked men.

Are you comparing Coming to America to this rancid bucket of mayonnaise?

I wouldn't put the O/U at 1000 crackers nationally seeing this POS. Including Tomatoes critics.

No. You missed my sarcasm, and the comparison numbers. If it's good black, we'll go. shite black? No.

The way the system works is this film probably lost more than $40 million. For the first few weeks the screens get 50% or more, plus marketing on this film.
What this is essentially a charitable donation. The studio will take a huge write down on it, a d run it in syndication on all the black channels. Byron Allen will run it on his networks and after 20 years it will break even. This doesn't make it to screens without major studio backing. They know their audience. It was. Never meant for "Theater Audience". It was made for people who don't work and still watch television. All the while making some studio executives feel good about themselves.

My apologies.
If it's a good MOVIE period, people go.
They always make a black versus white thing. (Ignoring the rest.)
You think the illegals that have been bussed in want to see this?
If Key and Peele had made this, or someone competent and just made it an off the wall satire. (Maybe a Scene when a down on his luck black man walks in and asks for a magic negro of his own and they say "we don't serve your kind in here." Some sort of meta humor).
Like I said the very base concept has potential. But not like this
