How in the world did she think she was going to board with that huge backpack and a stroller? Was that thing going to fit in an overhead bin? And a stroller is a no go because it will obstruct passenger and crew movement in an emergency. That is why they have you check it.

However, if an employee cannot remain tactful and polite they do not need to be in a customer service industry. And they should never roughly handle a passenger. Good to see AA acted immediately to address this.

I don't know what kind of stroller she had, but there is a new type that folds up to the size of a back pack (Yoyo for any parents out there who are interested) and easily fits into the overhead compartment.

As a minority, I hate when the first defense in anything is this unless it's genuinely a contributing factor. Why don't you complain about wanting to just be treated like a normal human being?

Anyways, both parties are at fault. Crazy lady firstly for breaking rules. Attendant escalating and hopping onto the crazy train.

The flight attendant could of simply stated check the stroller or your off the plane and this would of never turned into a thing. The lady was flat wrong and then the flight attendant made it much worse.

Damn, I thought this was going to be about a woman beating up her own mother.

With just this little info on what happened it looks like the woman with kids & the flight attendant both have some fault in this.

I will say that American Airlines has the most arrogant & rude flight attendants in the business. Being in the DFW area you end up having to fly American every now & then so I have seen it up close.
