That’s cool just next time they need a bailout from the government just exempt them and take from the rich. fricking airlines are all trash.

i fly often for work and i'm either united or southwest, depending on destination and times. been this way for 15 years. i hear delta has the best miles and lounges but i'm in too deep with those other two to jump ship now

I cannot imagine getting on a plane without choosing my seat.

Don’t be afraid to test the waters with other airlines
Most will status match if you are a mid level or higher tier
But if you are a lower tier like me, airline loyalty is all but pointless
I just choose the best available flight, and if all the options suck, I go with AA because they seem to have better redemption options for my vacation spots

Can't not say this enough. American Airlines is complete GARBAGE.

Delta is so cheap they won’t even give you a Coke if your flight is less than 500 miles

It's funny because I've only had 2 problems with American. One was a cancelation during Covid which was quickly resolved at DFW and an unplanned landing in Montgomery due to severe weather. Never a lost bag or anything

United also does all of this already.
I just flew on a basic economy flight and I earned miles.

I thought that was Spirit.
I was looking to book my annual trip to Vegas this year and I may end up booking Breeze. NonStop 150 each way, bags are the killer at 80 dollars for checked bags.
American's economy fares were about 500 each way plus bags and other fees.
I also feel like taking a road trip by driving, but I don't feel like driving 25 hours each way. The only benefit is not having to rent a car. Maybe I can plan it out and drive in 12 hour shifts and see America.

Anyone that flies often enough they are routinely in business class of a major airline is not anyone that’s bragging to me. I don’t want to fly that much for one. For 2, anyone really balling is flying the company private plane

Not attempting to claim balling but someone complaining here about not being able to get a Coke on a Delta flight < 500 miles is legitimately responded to that for those of us flying commercial, Delta is not a bad option for folks choosing seats forward on the plane.
“You get what you pay for” is maybe what I should have simply said.
