social media has ruined society. People who would make minimum wage are making more than doctors sitting in their parent's basement rage baiting all day. We live in a clown world

Trump groupies are probably around 20 percent of the population, and super liberals are probably about 20 percent of the population.
Each thinks that the other is angry and delusional, while the remaining 60 percent of the country thinks that Trump groupies and super liberals are both angry and delusional.

I guarantee that in the 1940’s - 1950’s that perception percentage of morality would be drastically different vs today.
America’s(and the “West’s”) societal cohesion is a shell of its former self, and I posit that to be the result of nefarious intent and design.
I personally believe that we are not too far down the road of decline; and it is not too late for a civilizational renaissance: the choice is ours.

That list doesn't mean much....India still uses the caste system. The only reason they are so low is because they don't consider 80% of the population to be actual people, they consider them untouchable trash.

I'd say only 10-15% of Americans are irredeemably bad or immoral. The rest of us give at least varying level of efforts to be good.

Sounds about right. Political polarization is such that saying one thing that the other side of the aisle disagrees with gets that person vilified by half the country. It doesn’t even have to an inherently political statement. I saw a SM post where Channing Tatum said “no comment” when asked a question about Israel and the comments were full of people saying he’s a POS.

I’d argue it’s even less than that. Very few people are irredeemably bad imo. Even most people who say or do bad things think they are morally correct. They’re just uninformed

Politicians are the visible part of this cabal, but they're not the only ones. The oligarchs want us squabbling with each other while they continue aggregating more and more wealth for themselves.

The Christian Right left the chat for good circa 2000. The Progressive Left filled the vacuum, is infinitely more Intolerant and rather than boorishly wanting to SAVE your soul the Progressive Left wants to CONDEMN you, imprison you, fire you, cancel you, and otherwise ruin your life.

Something like 5% of the population commits 80% of the crimes. I just doubled it since I assume plenty shitty people are also just too lazy to do anything.
