Can you be more specific?
quote:

What freedoms and liberties have been taken away from you?

Where government expands, liberty contracts. Freedom is in essence the lack of restrictions, and that is where freedom and liberty are eroding. However, there are also outright threats to those freedoms and liberties by politicians every year, and mostly because they view the Constitution as a stumbling block to achieving what they want to achieve, not a guide for government.

Government is up everyone’s rear end, and regulation is where government influences people’s lives by micromanaging people to death. They don’t necessarily ban it, even though many threaten it, but they most certainly regulate it to kill it or make it tougher, or benefit themselves. They do this with many things in life that we just take it on the chin, and don’t even get enraged over, and it’s corruption, greed, profiteering, and tyranny that is at the heart of it all, but you’ll watch it disappear and you’ll even justify it when it does disappear.

They make people put a seat belt on in my own vehicle, or wear a helmet on when riding a motorcycle for our own good? It’s not that it’s not a good idea. It’s just none of their damn business. They regulate and have regulated the size of magazines for guns, they ban certain vape while only allowing cigarette manufacturer vape for obvious nefarious reasonings that benefit them personally. They use cameras to watch our every move, even outsource tickets for running red lights to people who are in no means law enforcement. They conduct warrantless searches. As long as they can call you a terrorist, they can do what they will with no repercussions. They manipulate the actual voting process to attain and retain political power, and when held to task for it, or even questioned, they refuse to even investigate it. They demonize anyone who speaks against them as terrorists or the like. They shut down church services whilst allowing others to gather. They ban people from personally praying in public, bringing their bibles to schools, or witnessing, which is 100% a part of them exercising their freedom of religion in keeping with the first amendment.

These are just a few off the top of my head, but there are many more, and the further this country becomes government dependent, the more you will see evaporating, especially when they tie it all to your money, or the loss of that money, which is how they control people on the government tit.

Nothing has changed in this world. Gravity still operates the way it operates, and powerful people lust for wealth and power at any cost. The cost to you is of little to no concern to them. Our forefathers knew this, but we have all but forgotten about them.

You don’t want to wear a helmet, fine I support that. But the seatbelt keeps your body from being a projectile in a wreck and hurting someone else. I don’t mind that one.

On my 1.3mile ride to HEB today, I will spot at least 3-5 exotics. That model Ferrari is pedestrian by Porsche 918 standards.

Big Mexican and O&G money aren’t impressed.

I drove for a decade or so prior to seatbelts being a thing, other than things that you have to navigate around that burned your legs when you got in the car, and that was not epidemic. I’m sure it happened, but it wasn’t even a point of discussion amongst people until it’s how that legislation was being packaged. Only then did it even come up in discussion.

There’s always going to be very good reasoning to restrict and regulate. It’s up to us I suppose how much we are willing to accept it, but I don’t see anything that will prevent people from eventually accepting and even justifying given time. All the while, freedom and liberty is eroded. Look at the EU right now. They’re creating green zones to prevent ICE vehicles from operating within to of course, save the planet. They are even setting deadlines for all ICE vehicles to be banned. First the regulation and then the ban. There are people who are clearly upset, some up in arms over it, but I guarantee you that given a little more time, it will be implemented, and soon enough, they will forget all about it. These people can’t even pray in front of an abortion clinic. But that still wasn’t good enough, so they started arresting for praying silently as well. This is how it’s done, a slow and methodical erosion, and all to create the perfect world that powerful people envision as the perfect society for mankind.

Hey Governor Landry, why insurance rates in this shithole state so high again? Oh yeah. So pieces of shite like this can tool around BR in a fricking Ferrari.

I remember seeing a convo on the comments section on Facebook about insurance costs, and a guy put how he was paying over 500 a month in insurance with a clean record, and someone else asked him if he was insuring a Ferrari. The guy said no, it’s a camry and I live in Louisiana. The other guy didn’t believe him.

Poor people exist everywhere. Poor litigious people don’t dominate most states like they do in Louisiana.

Exactly

I don’t understand why the lawyers are getting the bad wrap when it’s the lawmakers that make the laws and loopholes that the lawyers follow and skirt

What loopholes do you think these lawyers are following? Be specific.
