That is an absolutely perfect recitation of all the strong reasons why our lawmakers passed our wonderful reforms just a few short years ago, to historically lower our auto insurance premiums for the good people of Louisiana… Oh snap…

Premiums will decrease when claims payouts decrease. Which insurers have seen claim payouts decrease? Or from the other side of the coin, which claimants have seen a decrease in the amount they force out of the insurers?

…It’s not that, it’s that even if you’re barely touched by another car you can get a limits settlement. The fact that our society encourages this rather than looking down on this disgusts me

I don’t understand why the lawyers are getting the bad wrap when it’s the lawmakers that make the laws and loopholes that the lawyers follow and skirt

Our lawmakers are trial lawyers. That’s a big part of the problem.

Lots are lawyers, but not “trial lawyers “. There is generally a big difference when it comes to political views.

Some websites claim that McKernan is worth around $15 million. Others put him at closer to $50 million. And then there are those that say he could be worth as much as $100 million.

Ambulance Chaser

I just thought of this: An enterprising young attorney should start a “legal ambulance service.”

You get in trouble with the law or need legal services. This lawyer baw doesn’t show up in an expensive luxury car, but in full size ambulance with the firms stickers all over.

In the back is a desk, computer, printer to print legal documents, attorney, paralegal, cameras for depositions, etc.

It is a one stop shop for all your legal needs and we come to you.

I have seen the Morris Bart bus, but this would be a smaller easier to drive vehicle.
