I've been using Amazon Music for years, and I'm telling you, from personal experience right this second, that albums I could listen to yesterday, start to finish, repeat, skip, whatever, no longer have that functionality. Could it be a bug they will fix? Maybe. But it's reality as of this moment.
This is 100% correct, regardless of what the article states. I've used Amazon Music for years, and this is a downgrade to the product that we previously had.

I just did it on prime music without unlimited but I'm using a browser.
Ran through the entire album just hitting next song in order

Pretty sure they fricked up all kind of code with this anyways for now
Cause the web version is a mess separate from the shuffle issue right now

Just tried it in browser. Behaving the same way as the app for me. I can search for an album, and even pull the song list, but I can only shuffle the album.
Literally no idea how you're having a different experience, but I don't have high hopes for things to break that way

I'll keep my Apple Music subscription. The algorithms are pretty damn good.

I think it's all fricked righ now because it broke on me searching

I’ve been very happy with It. It was rare I looked for a song I couldn’t play, and found many great artist/songs through their recommendations already.

Yep. I tried playing it and it prompted me to upgrade to family sharing as my dad is signed in to it already.

ETA: it does the shuffle bull shite for ALL songs. No songs are on demand anymore. Worthless.
I’ve been building a Christmas playlist on there for years.
I just tried to play it and now it only allows me to shuffle it and there’s a “skip limit”. F all that.

Everything you just said is objectively incorrect. I had full albums saved in my library that I could listen to, start to finish, yesterday. I just opened the app and can no longer listen to those albums. If I click on one, it will play a random song from that album.
What I have found is that I seem to have unlimited access to any albums that I have purchased.
Although, I have a lot of songs downloaded on my phone and my app is telling me I have none
I want to test offline play, because that's why I quit Spotify

Now, when I click on that album (whether from my library or individual searched), no matter which song I click on, it will shuffle a random song from that album. There's also a button that says "try Amazon music unlimited".
Sunday I literally listened to Nirvana Unplugged start to finish on my ride back from MS and it was the first thing I tested today, for that reason. You are correct.

Yeah this seems to be a worse setup than it was yesterday. I just tried to play a song I could play from an album on demand yesterday and now it just shuffles to a different song. To make it worse, it just shuffled through about 5 songs on that album in rotation so I couldn’t even skip to get to the song I wanted

I guess it's somewhat "better" if you just like to listen to "stations".

Was hoping I'd be able to save some money but the family plan for youtube premium and youtube music is worth the cost.

I listen to Amazon Music while I jog and it wouldn't even play the songs I have purchased. Screw Amazon
