I have an echo dot that I keep by my bed to control lights (Philips hue) and set alarms and things like that. Occasionally I'll turn on spotify and listen to music but the speaker in it is shite...especially compared to the full size echo. But for $35 you can't really go wrong with the Dot.

I haven't bought anything yet this year. I was about $500 in at this time last year.
So far, the only thing I'm considering getting is a second Echo for the office. I paid $129.99 last year.

i know the echo and dish network joeys are going to be synced so you can do all of your tv stuff via the echo.
pretty much the same things you can do with the xbone camera for ur cable,tv,etc.

I'm in for 250 so far - that car charger that tdeuce linked, echo, echo dot, therabreath, and some kitchen shite. Waiting for the Rubbermaid 60pc to come back.

I use my echo for playing music. it's pretty great to tell it to play certain bands, songs, or radio stations without having to fire up an app on my phone.
I'll have it running while I'm playing Madden or Fifa
The thermostat commands are also useful. Hoping to start integrating the lights soon.

Those things are tGOAT for long car rides w kids. I really do not understand why car companies add them as standard equipment. My truck has one and it is used regularly.

My friend's 2015 Ford Edge has one behind the center console for the back seat passengers and it is awesome.
