re: Tesla burns through $480,000 every hour but has a higher market cap than Ford - pongze
You can buy a $30,000 Chevrolet with a 250 mile range....right now. Next year you'll be able to do the same with a Nissan Leaf. The year after there will be 3 more competitors from Toyota, Honda, and Mazda. It's not 2011 anymore
The difference is the tesla supercharger network....
As the father of Asian children, I can say that they would have a very negative reaction if some kid made that face to them
As an Asian myself, who watched the entire game, and saw the clip replayed afterwards, having thought nothing of it during the game, I found it entirely benig...

re: Storing a vehicle - battery issues - pongze
So I’ve gotten my battery tender (Deltran) now. Some reviews that I’ve read say that they leave the cables connected to the battery and just unplug the unit from the cables if they need to use the vehicle. Does it not get too hot under the hood for the cables if the engine’s running? ...
The fact remains that if you and I both make the same amount of money in a year, and incur the same tax burden, yet I get a refund simply because I bought a home and you rented
So you don't own your home. If you did and understood taxes, you would understand that it's not a ...

re: Is it hard to raise a puppy? Update 10/10/17 - pongze
So we ended up getting one of the puppies a few weeks later, the runt. Cute as can be and a joy. She's laying next to me pooped after her longest walk to date. When I finally make an Imgur account or something, I'll post a pic. Our first embryo with IVF did not stick. We mulled it over for a whi...

re: Storing a vehicle - battery issues - pongze
Thanks, sounds like a battery tender is my solution. Regarding selling it, it's probably worth more to me as an extra vehicle than what I'd get for it. Nearly 200k miles on a lower class Mercedes is apparently worth next to nothing....

Storing a vehicle - battery issues - pongze
When storing a vehicle, or particularly keeping an extra vehicle for emergencies, is there anything special that should be done? The reason I ask is that I have had two vehicles' batteries die while I was storing them. The first was brought over from Hawaii and had this anti-corrosion thing unde...
But nobody thought much of those guys when those seasons started.
Disagree. If you followed LSU football and recruiting closely back then, you knew that Addai was a stud. Ridley was as well, but there was a question of his high school competition level. Hester, sure, you got me....

re: Battery issues on an Iphone 6S+.. - pongze
A few months ago while in NYC, I had to get my screen replaced. Did it at the Apple Store and the person helping me mentioned that there was a battery issue with the 6s's and they could replace the battery for free for me even though mine tested out fine. The battery issue was it going from somethin...

re: Reporter Who Exposed BBC Pedophilia Cover Up Found Dead - pongze
"found dead" in home is a lot more suspicious than "died in hospital after a stroke" no?
Not necessarily. Died in hospital after a stroke is not that common, as, in the short term, most strokes cause disability rather than death. The exception is a hemorrhagic stroke. Most, howeve...

re: Question: Why Does America Have the Highest Healthcare Costs Than Any Other Modern Country - pongze
Here's a tip: don't commit malpractice and I won't sue your ass. Deal?
So, in my 12 year career post-residency as an emergency physician, I have been named in one lawsuit and had to give a deposition, represented by a lawyer paid for by my group, which is self-insured. I was nam...
Most tesla owners I've spoken with are holding out for the AWD
I have a dual motor S and I've driven a number of single motor S's. I have two brands that have worked well. I have wired security cameras with a dvr and a wireless (but plug for power) 360° camera that records to sd card by a company called EZVIZ. re: What smart home devices do you currently use? - pongze
The nice thing about smart devices is that, by and large, they don't need to be prewired. Despite the advancement of wireless technology, if I were in your position, I'd prewire the heck out of the house, including prewiring for security cameras. Put outlets and/or channels wherever you think you mi...
