Are we on the same Amazon??
Mail Order Mike’s?

They have other models? Like maybe a Steve, Paul, or Jack?

No lie, they are awesome.

Just the frame or mattress too? Because if it's just the frame you can get one for 1000
The whole spiel: frame, mattress, sheets, ...

She's the one with acid reflux and sleeps sitting up in a recliner but is insisting I have this bed due to all my GI issues and such stemming from my pancreatic atrophy.

Love mine. I usually fall asleep after the SO and makes it really easy to read in the dark.

I picked up a hand milk frother that was 70% off, some fridge organizers that were 50% off, and the New Cooking School Cookbook from America’s Test Kitchen that comes with three months of online access to recipes as well for $22.

Over the years I have determined the time it takes to sort through all the Chinese crap that I refuse to bring into my home more than offsets any savings I could find.

Over the last 10 years I have probably bought more dollar-wise from German and UK Amazon than the US Amazon.

Tv prices are cheaper at bestbuy. Amazon wants you to buy the firetv versions which suck after like 4 updates.

You know the postal service is just going to cram it in your mailbox and break it.

I got this plane travel caddy which goes on the window of a plane and gives you a place to put your phone and drink.
I want to get the pillow thing that goes on the drink tray as well.

Anyone use the Kindle Scribe?

I'd love to trim down to an ereader and notebook all in one.

I had that and ended up getting a kindle Oasis. It has page turn buttons that are a game changer (for me at least). I’m not sure if they’re on Prime Day sale or not, but maybe your wife would like that better than the PW.

It’s not much bigger than the PW - if that’s a concern.

Does the screen look like the PW? I don't like reading on a tablet because of the glare.

What is the preferred Paperwhite to go with? Looking for one but there is a lot to weed through. Looks like after eliminating all the refurb/older models, there's an 8GB, 16, 32 signature edition with the signature edition having "no lock screen ads." Not sure what that means, I've not used one before but my 10 year old has expressed interest in one.

I've had an 8gb model for years and never come close to filling it up. I use it almost daily

Tip for next time. A few weeks before the event, search and view all the items you want to buy but can wait on. If you want it at a discounted price, make sure Amazon knows you are looking at it. Maybe even add them to your cart and then move it to save for later

90% of the time, that item is on sale on a Prime day

Also, keep track of historical prices of those items on camelcamelcamel dot com

The lock screen ad isn’t a big deal. It just shows potential Amazon books on the screen as an ad before you swipe up.

I was recommended to get the 8GB by a pretty voracious reader (reads a book every couple of days) and they’ve had no issues with capacity or function. I’ve only had mine for a few months and haven’t had any issues with capacity either. Same for the SO and his.
