That's not how Prime Pantry works. Shipping is 5.99 if you have one thing or a full pantry box. Prime membership does not include free prime pantry shipping....so all the promotion will give you is free shipping on your paper towels
Good thing I didn't need the item to get here timely where they gave me the $5.99 credit. Thanks for the info.

I just signed up for the 30 day trial last night and ordered a bunch of presents...when do they charge me the $99? after the 30 days I assume?

It says 2 day shipping when I check out, but it takes 4 or 5 days for me to get packages from Amazon nowadays.
In 3 years of Prime I have never had this happen. Last thing I ordered guaranteed 2 day shipping that didn't show up I got free. Only time I have issues is when they ship Smart Post, because the postal service is shite.

As a Prime member, I ordered an Arlo security system with Prime delivery on 12/3. On average, I place over 200 orders per year with Amazon, because of pricing, shipping and their liberal return policy coupled with great customer service.
My order isn't expected to arrive until today, 5 days after purchase.
I've emailed Amazon customer service and am awaiting a response. In the past, they've always made their shipping delays right with me and I don't expect anything different today.

This has been happening to me a lot the last 3 months...
I'm ok with the 3-5 when it says it, but not ok when it's a surprise.

This. I have never had a problem getting my stuff in 2 days. I have had prime for a while as well

I have never had an issue with my prime orders taking more than two days. In fact, I just ordered something yesterday morning and it is already out for delivery today.

Literally the only time they missed a delivery window as a Prime customer (now - there have been some late shipping dates, so there's that) - they gave me a free month of Prime - just FYI, which I thought was very fair.

I've also never had an issue with 2-Day shipping. However, during the holidays I notice they always default my "Prime Shipping" option to the 3-5 Day option. The credit for "No Rush" is also nice if you order early.
Will be on the lookout for the shipping delays.

Sometimes I get 2-day shipping. Sometimes it takes longer and that normally happens when I really need the item quickly. I've called and complained a few times and they've refunded purchases before.

I emailed Amazon about this exact thing. The response I got was something along the lines of "2day depends of where in the country the shipment is coming from and where you are located"
That is not what it used to be...

I'm still waiting on a Prime package that I ordered on 12/2. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday 12/7. That's 5 days for Prime. I was OK with it until I didn't receive it yesterday. I checked tracking and there is no tracking activity after 12/3, which is only the pick up scan.
I contacted Amazon and was told to wait until tomorrow 12/9 to see if it arrives. They weren't much help at all. I even told them tomorrow would make 8 days from order and that is not acceptable since I pay $100 a year for Prime. She just said to wait until tomorrow.
Amazon is beginning to go downhill. In the past, they would have overnighted a replacement right away.

they probably used usps to deliver your package. seriously.

When they started using the USPS, everything went down hill. The only packages I've had issues with are the ones delivered from the post office. If my mail lady even sees my dog (in the backyard, in invisible fencing), she refuses to leave the package at the door. I've explained to her twice about the dog. She's about 260 lbs and it's a walk to the front door, so...

Amazon wrote me back this morning and provided me with a free month of Prime service for my inconvenience.
I gladly accepted.

You need to pay attention at checkout. Sometimes it's slightly back ordered or not shipping from a fulfillment center.

That is about right I have not gotten anything within 2 days in months
Posted on 12/8/15 at 10:20 pm to Will Cover
They gave me a free month as well, and not that I don't appreciate it, but it's not what I signed up and paid for. And I may not have been clear as to what I was talking about initially. But the issue I have is when Amazon prime has the (3-5 days) next to the prime symbol when you look near the price of your item. Why is Amazon allowing this when the whole thing was about getting 2 day shipping for a flat yearly fee? Now it's 3-5 days for my same fee? I could get 3-5 day shipping without paying a fee...

FREE Two-Day Shipping through Amazon Prime
If the item you're ordering is out of stock or unavailable to ship immediately, you may not receive the item in two business days. Selecting One-Day or Two-Day shipping will reduce the transit time to one or two business days after we've shipped your order, but it won't impact how long it takes us to obtain the item or prepare it for shipment. The shipping method time starts when the item ships. For example, it will take up to two business days after an item ships to reach you with Two-Day Shipping.
