This is actually not as off base as we might think. In nature, would we men find that girl attractive if she had a bit of a mustache? Probably so. We have been trained by our culture to be a little revolted by armpit hair, for example. But that is a perfectly natural thing.
I guess what happened was that women tried to accentuate the differences between men and women, and hair is one. It’s natural for women to have armpit hair and a slight mustache, but men have more. So women started plucking and shaving. As that became common, men’s tastes shifted also.
The movement we are seeing today is one that is trying to stop women from being objectified so much. i feel sympathy for that movement, at the same time i feel revulsion at its manifestations, such as mustache girl.
