Id put all my chips on Dallas. No corp tax and no tax for shareholders income off of company's income.

when they first announced this my first thought was either DFW or the DC region
both would make good places and there are different advantages to each, will just depend on what they want

Again. What land.
Get ready for a skyrocketing price in housing again. I suppose this is headed for NYC prices.

My guess too. Part of me thinks we (Dallas) don’t need more people and more pressure on housing.
Yep. Pls no, Amazon.

Not sure why they are appeasing the CA crowd, it’s well known they wanted to have a southern presence and/or be east of the MS.
It’s most likely down to Dallas and Boston.

No kidding. I just can't see how they can say that quality of life and affordable housing are a requirement and then locate it in the Washington DC area.
Dallas would seem like a no-brainer if they actually go by the criteria they put forth....but I doubt thats the really driving the decision.

Pretty much. Then hopefully the value goes up when everyone moves in.

Enjoy becoming DC. DC where $100,000 is equal to about $45K standard of living.

The DFW metro is gonna reach Oklahoma soon. There will always be affordable housing depending on how far you're willing to commute.

After doing a shite ton of research on the housing markets I want in on, 5 years ago in North Dallas you could buy damn near a McMansion for ~275k+.
Today, those houses are 500k+.

I've considered Prosper but the tolls would KILL me.
Considering moving to Southlake, The Colony, Lewisville, Las Colinas area.

Go north of bush and there's some good houses in the $350-450k range in Plano. Bigger lots too. They're 90s construction before they packed them in to be able to high five your neighbor from your bedroom.

I would have to think the frontrunners are Dallas, Austin, Boston, DC area and Atlanta.
I think Austin is saturated already. Boston and DC are not affordable but otherwise meet the criteria and are east coast. I think Dallas may have the best quality of life of the cities at issue, but it also may be the most boring. Atlanta is similar to Dallas but with a bigger airport, more eastern location and is probably viewed as more hip/progressive (but has poorer infrastructure overall).

When it comes to business its all about the taxes. Cut the taxes on businesses and the rest falls into place.
Liberals scream "They want to cut taxes on the rich!" because poor people hate on rich people but poor people dont put other people to work.
