I think she was somehow involved. But the Italian courts are turrible. Find it disgusting she wrote a book etc, to capitalize. It will be interesting to see the US gov's move. We sure do expect other countries to extradite citizens if we ask... Just saying , it wouldn't surprise me either way.

Their justice system is a complete joke just on having no double jeopardy clause alone.

If I were Amanda Knox, I'd plant my arse here and stay safe on the shores of the United States of America. Don't even think about stepping one foot out of it.

But if she were to travel abroad, she needs to stay away from countries italy has an extradition treaty with and/or Interpol has a prescence in.

Is it just me, or does anybody else see Amy Adams playing her in the movie?

The US has an extradition treaty with Italy, but as with most countries they won't allow extradition when the offense is not something you would be sentenced for in the country you are presently in.

The Italian "justice" system is horribly bad. There are numerous well-known cases that just make you In this case all the physical evidence points to the immigrant who was convicted. AFAIK all the "evidence" against Knox is circumstantial, all the physical (so-called) evidence was thrown out because of the horribly sloppy work they did in gathering and handling it. They already have the killer, this is just revenge for the embarrassment of the botched first trial.

They convicted Patrick Head in Ayrton Senna's death in 2007, 13 years after the accident. Several racing drivers die every year in accidents—it's a dangerous sport. Duh. The initial trial resulted in acquittal in 1997, but they couldn't let it go. It's like the prosecutors create these vendettas whenever they lose a big case.

You guys should research Italian Justice

Yeah, Italy seems to be filled with an unusual amount of crazies for what's considered a first world country. Remember this gem from the Italian legal system:
Italian Scientist convicted over Earthquake warning

They convicted scientists for not being able to predict an earthquake. That really happened. Its amazing that the like of Marco Pole or Christopher Columbus came from that area.

Well the roles couldn't be reversed because there are laws that prevent double jeopardy.

They have no double jeopardy, we do. We will not grant any extradition request.

The corrupt, incompetent and laughable Italian justice system needs a wake up call and what better one than a rejection from the most powerful country on Earth.

The Europeans shelter rapists from US justice for no reason at all (Eoman Polanski, Alex Kelly). They shouldn't expect us to respect their kangaroo courts.

it was the murder police, Knox and bf said oh glad you're here, we called about the dead girl. Police checked and there was never a call made to the police about the body
Something wrong with this story. Yeah somebody's lying, When I catch the cops in a lie in the first paragraph of a report I am sorry but I start to have trust issues.
